LPR started operations in the United Kingdom with the signing of a major contract with Kimberly-Clark in 2004. In 2006, LPR extended its coverage to Ireland with three new depots.

LPR’s business in the United Kingdom and Ireland is managed from LPR UK’s headquarters in Redditch near Birmingham.

The quality of its service has won LPR UK increasing numbers of customers and currently it handles more than 6 million pallet movements. The English-based company works with many leading national and international FMCG brands such as Cott Beverages, Heinz, Kimberly-Clark, Kellogg’s, Nestlé and Weetabix.

LPR services are quoted on a ’trip-fee’ basis meaning that the customer is billed a single fee for each pallet delivered. The price covers all services, including delivery to a customer’s premises and collection from the final user, sorting, repairing and reconditioning pallets in an LPR depot, rental costs for the entire rotation cycle and general management and administrative costs.

LPR U.K. has selected the most efficient logistics specialists to be sure of providing top-quality ‘full service’. Its main partner for logistics is TDG.

LPR pallets are accepted by all retailers in the UK FMCG sector.

In the United Kingdom, LPR covers the entire territory with a network of 11 depots that manage pallet delivery, collection, sorting and repairs.

LPR sub-contracts its logistics to professional service providers who satisfy LPR quality criteria and are audited regularly.

They all have a direct connection to LPR’s IT system via the Eurospider interface.

The LPR United Kingdom range of pallets includes the two formats commonly used in the FMCG sector and by major retailers.

LPR pallets comply with hygiene regulations applying in the food sector and are reserved strictly for the FMCG sector, in order to avoid any risk of contamination.

LPR has acquired PEFC certification and has therefore implemented a rigorous chain of custody to ensure that the wood for its pallets comes from forests that are managed ‘sustainably’.

LPR United Kingdom offers the following main pallet formats:

Wooden Pallet 800 x 1200 mm
Wooden Pallet 800 x 1200 mm
Wooden Pallet 1200 x 1000 mm
Wooden Pallet 1200 x 1000 mm
