LPR Benelux recently completed an ISO 9001 audit process and was awarded certification as part of an LPR group-wide effort to certify all local entities in Europe. LPR is the first pallet pooling company to comply with the strict ISO certification rules for both its head office and country branches.

Weetabix has awarded LPR its UK pallet management contract to deliver all key brands including Alpen, Ready Brek and Oatibix. As part of the contract, LPR will also run a pallet processing facility at Weetabix’s Burton Latimer site, helping to substantially reduce transport needs.

Consolidated turnover for the Number 2 European pallet-pooling specialist rose by 7% in 2008, bursting through the 100-million-Euro ceiling! The number of pallets handled in Europe increased by 10%, up from 35 to almost 38 million.
01/23/2009Nestlé signs a European pallet-pooling contract with LPR
Global FMCG producer Nestlé, has signed a framework agreement with LPR, Europe’s number two pallet-pooling operator. Under the terms of the agreement, LPR has been given approved supplier status for all Nestlé business divisions in Europe and recently secured supply contracts with the three main operating divisions of Nestlé in the U.K. These complement LPR’s long-standing supply contracts with Nestlé’s Waters division in France and Benelux.

The European Number 2 in pallet pooling posted an increase of almost 25% in its activities in the Benelux countries in 2008. Two new contracts, one with the Spadel Group (beverages) and the other with McBride (household and personal care products), have confirmed LPR’s expanding Benelux market.
10/20/2008LPR opens one of its largest pallet depots in Europe at Savigny-le-Temple
LPR, the pallet-pooling expert, opened a new pallet depot at Savigny-Le-Temple in France’s Seine-et-Marne département on 17 October. It is one of LPR’s largest in Europe, designed for the collection, sorting and repair of more than 3.5 million pallets a year.

Ontex, the European market leader in ‘private label’ hygienic disposables, has prolonged its contract with pallet-pooling service provider LPR for another three years. At the same time, it has expanded the agreement to include more European countries, which will significantly increase the number of pallet movements handled by LPR.
06/09/2008LPR opens the doors of its German subsidiary
LPR has recently opened for business at its German subsidiary in Ratingen, north of Dusseldorf. The General Manager of LPR Logistic Packaging Return Deutschland GmbH is Stefan Frye, whose goal is to develop business with the Group’s main customer accounts in the German market and to implement LPR’s pallet-pooling system there. He will be counting on a team of ten people, to be appointed in the course of the year.
05/05/2008Red is all the rage for Henkel cosmetics
Since the start of this year, Henkel’s cosmetics products are being delivered to major French, Belgian and Dutch retailers on red pallets. LPR, European No.2 for pallet-pooling, signed its first agreement in January with the German group to provide 200,000 pallets a year to its distribution hubs at Château-Thierry (Aisne, France) and Kampenhout (Belgium).
